KING OF PRUSSIA SKI CLUB
The 2025 Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council Winter Carnival will be held in Steamboat, Colorado! If you have not been to Steamboat recently, you need to see what they have done with the place. Steamboat has invested $200 million in the resort – a new gondola, more skiable acres, improvements to the base area, and more! If you enjoy the social aspects of skiing, this is the trip for you! There is a gala with dinner and dancing, a welcome reception, and ski racing. Come meet new ski friends from our region at all these great activities.
Steamboat is the fifth largest ski resort in Colorado with 2,965 acres (1,200 hectares) of terrain, 169 named trails, and 3,668 feet of vertical. The terrain is spread across six peaks, providing a variety of aspects. Steamboat Ski Resort is serviced by 18 lifts, which include a gondola and six high-speed chairlifts. The whole resort is below the tree line, so there are no alpine bowls and only a couple of chutes, but the glade skiing for advanced riders is rave-worthy. Tree-lined groomers and moguls make up the rest of the terrain, as well as an impressive terrain park and superpipe. Steamboat is paradise for intermediates. Forty-two percent of the trails are blue, and many of the single black runs are also great for strong intermediate riders.
