KOPSC will be staying “on the property” in the Sun Valley Apartments adjacent to the palatial Sun Valley Lodge, a bathrobe walk away from the lodge pool and all lodge facilities. Free shuttle takes us to Mount Baldy, which gives you 3400 vertical feet with 65 unique trails on 2400 acres worthy of the best black-diamond skier and blue-and-green cruiser. For non-alpine skiers, there is endless spectacular Nordic skiing on the property and up Wood River Valley to the Galena Lodge. If you are a true beginner skier, we’re in the shadow of historic Dollar Mountain, which is perfect for the first-time skier or the novice telemarker who wants to quickly improve. We’re also a snowball’s throw from the newly renovated ice skating rink featured in the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour episode “Lucy Goes to Sun Valley.”
