Lodging is at the Inn on Third Street in McCall, which has everything we need. We’re a five-minute walk from the center of with the vibe of a frontier mountain lake village, loaded with hardy restaurants and fun lakeside bars. Brundage is a 15-minute bus ride and Tamarack a 35-minute bus ride from our lodging. Tamarack will be our first destination Friday and Saturday, and Brundage will be our second mountain Sunday, Monday (St Patrick’s day) and Tuesday. Expect a serious St. Patty’s Day celebration at Brundage on Sunday with a “Beer & Gear” theme. Demo skis with local brewery tents surrounding the bandstand. McCall has produced plenty of Nordic US Olympians by virtue of its fantastic Nordic (XC Skiing) terrain. Nordic skiers are encouraged to sign up and take advantage of three local XC skiing areas: Little Ski Hill, Jug Hill Ranch and Tamarack Nordic.
