This is now a drive-up trip!
Smugglers' Notch (Smuggs) is the top-ranked mountain resort in the East for service and terrain! Smuggs covers more than 1,000 acres of accessible terrain, with more than 300 acres marked and patrolled. The resort is consistently and justifiably rated as one of the top destinations in the nation. Its vertical drop of 2,610 feet is the fourth largest in New England and the third largest in Vermont. The terrain is accessed via 78 trails and 6 lifts. Skiers and riders can expect an average seasonal snowfall of 322 inches along with some of the East’s best and most expansive tree skiing. People often rave about Smuggs’ authentic Vermont charm paired with amazing snow, minimal crowds and terrain for everyone. That’s how a place can rank high in skiing (#2 in terrain, #3 in snow, and #3 in challenge), yet still please visitors in service-related categories (#1 in service, #2 in lodging, and #3 in charm)!
