Let the Festivities Begin!
The first general meeting of the King of Prussia Ski Club meeting was a smashing success! Thank you Marianne Ruffini and her Programs Committee for preparing the room and making the evening special for us all. It was a wonderful night seeing so many familiar faces and meeting some new ones!
So many trips were filled up, but there are still spots open on a few. If you are interested in skiing with the club this year, don’t delay. If the trip you want is full, get on the wait list. You will be contacted if there is an opening, you can decide at that point if you want to go. They will not cash your check until you confirm you can go.
Please think about where you want to ski in 2021 – and if you want to run a trip, this is your opportunity. The Ski Trip Planning Committee was struggling to find enough leaders this year, so let’s make their lives easier by helping out and running a trip. If interested, please contact Lydia Hill or Rick Bunn.
October is a beautiful month for hiking, biking, golfing, festivals and just about any outdoor activity. If you know of an interesting event coming up and are planning to go, please share it on our Listserv and Facebook page. Or better yet – contact Tom Holder and make it a club activity to get other members to join you!
It’s never too early to think about joining a committee or being on the board for the 2020-21 season. Think about it and let Jack Schweitzer know if you are interested or have a good suggestion for who might be a good candidate.
